Taye Training has worked in partnership with this organisation for a number of years, supporting their safeguarding journey throughout many changes, including mergers, quality assessments and tenders.
The organisation is a large, complex organisation, delivering a variety of services nationally to customers experiencing multiple disadvantages. This includes projects for families working with social care, single homeless, adults convicted of offences, people addicted to substances, domestic abuse victims and people causing abuse.
Taye works as the organisation’s safeguarding golden thread and senior leaders have noted:
- “The added benefit of having you on the outside looking in but knowing the inside is extremely reassuring when the subject is safeguarding”.
- “I often forget you don’t work for us; you know us so well”
- “I truly believe my problem is your problem and that you care about the outcome”
Tammy Banks, Taye Director, leads this project and she updates and trains the organisation’s trustees and coaches senior managers. Tammy utilises her experience, qualifications, national knowledge and expertise to make recommendations, support developments and encourage continued progression.
Numerous Taye facilitators deliver safeguarding (awareness, alerter and responder) training to the organisation’s 1,100 staff and the central team reviews and updates policies annually.
